Lesson Plans: Elementary

Welcome to the Technology & Engineering Education Association of Pennsylvania's Elementary Lesson Plan page! These lesson plans were developed by educators from right here in the Keystone State of Pennsylvania! If you are would like to offer us one of your lessons, please forward them to the TEEAP Webmaster.

The format of the lesson plan is not important, but you may download a copy of the template provided at the 2005 Governor's Institute for Technology Education by clicking here. Unlike the Template found on the K-12 Guide Page, this one includes some optional worksheets, design brief layout, and rubric template.

You can also use the Pennsylvania Department of Education's Standards Aligned System (SAS) website to create Lesson Plans using the materials found in on their Publsh Your Best page. These can then be submitted for inclusion on SAS for all teachers across the state.

Files below are in various formats including Microsoft PowerPoint and Word as well as Adobe Acrobat. These plans are available for you to download and use. Feel free to adapt them to suit your needs!

The theme ITEEA's 75th Annual Conference is Improving Technology & Engineering for All Students: A Plan of Action. As ITEEA starts its 75th Anniversary celebration of its past, present, and future, there are guiding principles that will shape our field and the content to be taught. We know that the pace of innovation will continue to be rapid and globally interconnected. The population of individuals who are involved with or affected by technology will be increasingly diverse and multidisciplinary. Social, cultural, political, and economic forces will continue to shape and affect the success of innovation. The presence of technology in our every day lives.
